With the desire to continue to bring a magnificent Festival which will grow and succeed each year, I have with a heavy heart made the tough decision to postpone this year's event. With that said I invite you to join us next August 26-28 for the 2011 Festival. This decision was not made lightly. It came down to the fact that the sponsorship funding required to bring the Festival this year was far below budgeted and required needs. I made the choice to postpone for one year instead of taking away many of our great entertainers or exhibits just to have the Festival or facing unrecoverable financial losses.
Looking forward, the positive is that we now have over 400 days to prepare and assure the Festival is ready to go. What is also clear is that when you return next year, it will be a most memorable event. I am committed to making the Rocky Mountain Irish Festival the best Irish Festival west of the Mississippi, celebrating Irish and Irish American heritage, history, music, education while creating valued friendships.
